MR YONG JIEYU

STUCK Design Pte Ltd

Jieyu is co-founder and director of STUCK Design, a Singapore-based design innovation consultancy. Since 2010, STUCK has worked across industrial design, design research, service design, placemaking, and facilitation, with clients in government and industry.

Jieyu is trained in industrial design and completed his Masters at the Design Academy Eindhoven on a DesignSingapore Scholarship.

He leads the research practice in STUCK, with works spanning public engagement, healthcare transformation, and organisational innovation, with clients including URA, HDB, NHB, MOH-affiliated hospitals, OCBC, NCS and the Lien Foundation. He has led programmes ranging from single-day workshops to year-long design engagements.

Alongside consulting, Jieyu is a part-time lecturer at the NUS Department of Architecture (Design Thinking for Meaningful Spaces) and has taught at the NUS Division of Industrial Design and Nayang Academy of Fine Arts since 2010. He co-authored the Design Thinking curriculum at Singapore Polytechnic with Edwin Low. and sits on the executive committee of the Design Business Chamber Singapore serving as co-chair of SG Mark.
