Sookling Ong is a Design Director with over 25 years of experience in luxury hospitality and high-end residential design across Asia, the Middle East, the United States, and premier resort destinations in the Maldives and Malaysia. She serves as Design Director at Brewin Design Office, leading the design and delivery of hospitality projects for internationally recognised brands including Fairmont, Capella, and Park Hyatt.

Her design philosophy is rooted in the belief that great spaces should create beauty, peace, and meaningful human connection. Rather than relying on grand gestures, her work focuses on crafting thoughtful experiences through proportion, materiality, light, and a deep understanding of how people move, feel, and interact within a space.

Throughout her career, Sookling has contributed to numerous award-winning projects, including Andaz Nanjing (AHEAD Asia 2023), St. Regis Singapore Spa (AHEAD Asia 2024), and Kempinski Hangzhou (Design Excellence Award 2022). Her portfolio spans luxury hotels, resorts, branded residences, wellness destinations, and mixed-use developments across multiple continents.

Beyond professional practice, Sookling is passionate about nurturing the next generation of designers and advancing the interior design profession through mentorship, education, and industry engagement. She serves as a Council Member of the Society of Interior Designers, Singapore (SIDS).
