
Principal Architect & Co-Founder of TA.LE
Lionel Leow is the Co-founder and Principal Architect of TA.LE, an award-winning Singapore-based design firm that provides consultancy services for architectural, urban and interior projects. By deconstructing complex ideas into simple concepts, he aims to create memorable and inspiring spaces that are tailored to the unique needs and preferences of his clients.
Lionel’s portfolio includes Palais Renaissance, ESR Bizpark @ Changi, Nordic European Centre for Capitaland, several superparks in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, as well as private residences such as a Good Class Bungalow at Ridout Road.
Lionel’s career began at global architectural offices, DP architects in Singapore and the Power Company in The Netherlands, where he oversaw local and overseas projects from conception to construction. In his last role as the Associate Director at DP Architects, he was the lead designer and architect for several projects in Singapore including GrandPark Orchard Hotel, Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), Corporate University (Training Institute) for Unilever at Nepal Hill, Singapore, NTU School of Medicine (Yunnan Garden).
Throughout his studies and career, Lionel has won international competitions in architecture and multimedia. In 2021, Lionel was the recipient of Society of Interior Designers Singapore’s inaugural 2021 20 UNDER 45 awards recognising his outstanding work in interior design. He is a registered architect with the Board of Architects in Singapore and The Netherlands.
